Repairs & servicing
What we fix
Motors & control boards
Gates that won't open, stop halfway or run the wrong way. Centurion is what we install and know best.
Remotes & keypads
New Centurion remotes coded in, keypads replaced and codes changed.
Safety beams & sensors
Misaligned or faulty beams that stop the gate closing.
Sagging & dragging gates
Worn hinges, rollers and tracks replaced, posts re-set and gates re-hung.
Power & wiring faults
Tripping circuits, damaged cables and corroded connections found and fixed.
Automating old gates
Add a motor to the gate you already have, if it's in good enough shape.
Electrical and mechanical in one visit
A gate that won't move can be a motor fault, a wiring fault or a mechanical problem with the gate. Because we're electricians and gate builders, we can find and fix any of those on the same visit.
Before you call
If your gate opens but won't close, check that nothing is between the safety beams and that the lenses are clean. Make sure the manual release lever is fully locked. If it still won't work, give us a call.

Install and power up
We set posts and footings, hang the gate, wire the motor and show you how everything works.
FAQ
Repairs & servicing: common questions
Do you repair all gate motor brands?
Centurion is the brand we install and know best. For other brands, tell us the make and model when you get in touch and we'll let you know.
My gate opens but won't close. Why?
The most common cause is a blocked or misaligned safety beam. Check nothing is in the way and the lenses are clean. If it still won't close, call us.
Is it worth repairing, or should I replace it?
If the gate is solid and the motor is a common model, repair is usually the better value. If both are worn out, we'll give you prices for both so you can decide.
Do you service gates?
Yes. A service covers the motor, safety beams, hinges or rollers and the track, and catches problems before they leave you stuck.
